We absolutely loved our stay in this quirky historic cottage. Its rural location was perfect for exploring the local area, with Bildeston just a short drive away. The cottage has been beautifully modernized while still retaining its historic charm. The highlight was definitely the working pizza oven, and we appreciated that the owner provided all the ingredients and equipment needed to make our own pizzas. The kitchen was well equipped and the enclosed garden was a bonus for our dog. The host was attentive and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable.
We highly recommend this hotel.

Quirky old cottage in a rural setting, perfect for exploring the local area. Cross country walks to nearby town were a hit with the kids. the working pizza oven was a fun and delicious highlight of our stay.
Limited sleeping options for adults, but great for younger children. Needing to bring our own towels was a minor inconvenience.
